|Unexpectedly on Monday December 3, 2012 at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital. Andreas (Andy) Kouroufexis of Strathroy at age 58. Husband and best friend of Anne Beauvais for 33 years. Cherished father and hero of Andrea Kouroufexis and her husband Mark Campbell and Sonia Kouroufexis and her husband Brian Moniz all of Strathroy. Beloved Pappous of Dominic and Vienna. Successful owner of Andy's Pizza since 1987. Survived by his family in Cyprus. Visitation will be held on Friday December 7, 2012 from 2 pm to 4 pm and 7 pm to 9 pm at DENNING BROS. FUNERAL HOME 32 Metcalfe St. W STRATHROY where funeral service will be held on Saturday December 8, 2012 at 11:00 am. Interment to follow service at Strathroy Cemetery. |With great sadness our family announces the passing of our beloved mother in her 92nd year on Tuesday, November 27, 2012 at Strathroy Hospital . Loving wife of the late Kenneth Haldane (2005). Dear mother of Sheryl (Michael), June (Tom) and Judy (late Walter). Special Nanny to Susan (Paul), Chris (Jessica), Jennifer (Dan), Adam (Karoline), Ryan (Bethany), Melissa (Vince) and Meagan (Elvis). Survived by 10 great-grandchildren. At Amy's request there will be no funeral visitation. An open house will be held on Wednesday, December 5, 2012 from 1-4 pm at St. Johns Anglican Church to celebrate Amy's life. Donations to Strathmere Lodge Auxiliary would be appreciated.

|Peacefully on November 24, 2012, at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital, in his 93rd year, a life-long resident of Strathroy. Beloved husband of 65 years to Doris Smith (nee Wright). Loving father to Murray and Mary Lynn Smith of London and Marsha and John Raven of Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta. He will be missed by his grandchildren Suzanne and Rodney Smith-Merkley, Peter and Anna (Karlen) Raven, Lyndsay and Greg Cartright, Heather Raven, Andrew Smith and Michael Raven. Great-grandchildren Anderson, Jacob and Petra Smith-Merkley. Dear brother of Kathleen Butler and brother-in-law of Yvonne (Bruce) Lambert and Thelma Smith. Predeceased by his brothers Lyle, Norman and Stuart Smith and his sisters Fern Garton, Jean Lightfoot and Ieleen Gough. Member and former elder of St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, Strathroy. Veteran of the Canadian Navy in World War II and proud member of the Sir Arthur Currie Branch 116 of the Royal Canadian Legion and the London Branch of the Royal Canadian Naval Association. Special thanks to the doctors and nurses of Strathroy Hospital for their care and compassion, and to the staff of Strathmere Lodge for their support and care of Ross. Cremation has taken place. Friends and family will be received at Denning Bros. Funeral Home, Strathroy on Wednesday from 7-9 p.m. A Legion Service followed by a Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, November 29, 2012 at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, 152 Albert Street, Strathroy at 11 a.m. with Rev. Steve Boose officiating. Lunch will follow the service. Interment will take place in Strathroy Cemetery. In honour of Ross' life, donations may be made to the Royal Canadian Legion, St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church or a charity or your choice. |

|It is with great sadness that the family announces Laverne’s passing at age 83 on November 22, 2012. He will be remembered lovingly by his wife, Shirley (née MacCallum) and devoted father of Paul and Tom, predeceased by their eldest son, David (1992). Laverne was the only son of the late Earl (1962) and Pearl (née McLean-1979) Cobban. Other family members are brother-in-law, Tom MacCallum (2004), sister-in-law, Sally (2010) and husband Ray (1990) Ewbank and their children, Andy and Peter (Kathleen) and family (Courtney and Chris), sister-in-law, Anne (2011) and husband Bill Fennell and their family, Dick (Gail), sons Chad and Garrett and their mother, Robin, Becky (Doug) Elder and their children (William, Kristi and Thomas) and Amos and his daughter (Savanah) and James (predeceased 1967). Relatives and friends will be received at Denning Bros. Funeral Home, Strathroy on Sunday, November 25th from 7-9 PM and 1 hour prior to the 2:00 pm memorial service held Monday, November 26th with Rev. Ed Hoekstra officiating. Surrounded by the love of his family, a private interment will be made at Cooks Cemetery beside his beloved son, David: together again. | On Wednesday, November 21, 2012, God in his infinite wisdom took unto Himself Frances Huizinga, who after a lengthy time of much pain and suffering laid down peacefully just after she was dressed by the nursing staff in the home where she had stayed only a week. She passed away very peacefully and without pain at the last moments. She leaves behind her husband of close to 60 years Hink (Henry) Huizinga, her daughters Diana (Epp) De Vries, Alice (Jim) Leonard, Francis (Andy) Kassies and son Peter (Michelle) Huizinga. Survived by 14 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Fondly remembered by 4 brothers and 1 sister. Predeceased by one brother and one sister and her parents. Our comfort is that she is now no more subject to all the pains and illness she has experienced for so many years. God has given and taken. His name be praised in life and also in death. Friends will be received on Sunday, November 25th from 6-9 pm at Providence United Reformed Church, 447 Second Street, Strathroy where a service to celebrate her life will be held on Monday, November 26th at 2:00 pm with Pastor Harry Zekveld officiating. As expressions of sympathy, donations will be accepted for her favorite charity "Word & Deed". A tree will be planted as a living memorial to Frances.
